Information for Degree programmes taught in foreign languages:
Admission fee
You are required to pay the fee of CZK 790 no later than
- 31 March - Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes
- 30 April - Doctoral degree programmes (PhD)
for the administrative costs connected with the application. After payment of the fee, the electronic application will be linked with the payment and forwarded to the application proceedings. You will receive information about the acceptance of your application by e-mail.
Please take into account that the application is only complete upon payment of the administrative fee.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree programmes
A. Complete the online application and pay the fee of CZK 790 by 31 March
B. Send us the following documents by 31 May
- certified copy of the document certifying your education
- motivation letter
- CV
- certificate documenting a knowledge of the English language on a minimum level of B2 (for the degree Czech for foreigners A2)
Master's degree programmes
A. Complete the online application and pay the fee of CZK 790 by 31 March
B. Send us the following documents by 31 May
- certified copy of the document certifying your education
- diploma supplement of the Bachelor's degree (may be replaced by a list of credits from the Bachelor's degree programme; the diploma supplement or list of credits has to be certified by the study department of the relevant university)
- CV
- certificate documenting a knowledge of the English language on a minimum level of B2 (for the degree English philology C1)
- motivation letter
- thesis project containing the methodological framework, the theoretical background of the topic and the bibliography
Doctoral degree programmes:
Complete the online application and pay the fee of CZK 790 by 30 April

All documents shall be delivered in English, Czech or Slovak. Documents in a language other than English, Czech or Slovak must be provided with an official translation into one of these languages.
All documents the applicant submits to the Faculty must be certified in accordance with the respective international treaties.
If you apply for study at Palacký University Olomouc and you have completed your prior higher education outside of the Czech Republic, the recognition of your prior education is essential for the decision regarding your admission to study.
If you wish to recognize your prior education and qualification as equivalent to education obtained in the Czech Republic, you have undergo the standard recognition proceedings. For more detailed information please see the link below
